My name is Nicolas
Ozerov. I leave in a very beautiful city, in Saint-Petersburg, on the board of
the Neva.
Thank you for the
attention and a possibility to present my collection of wooden painted
plaything to you.
A few primitive
(what is in tradition of the Russian Slaves), but bright and original by the
form, charming, cheerful and gay by its contents and mood, the plaything is
accessible to persons who love all the original and non-ordinary.
My plaything is
not presented indeed in St-Petersburg. Generally, the playthings are
transported abroad, as well as they are represented in different exhibitions
and auctions.
A little about the
plaything-self. The plaything - doll is a ware absolutely for the souvenir.
Wooden, voluminous by the form, the plaything is made on the lathe from the
dried prepared aspen. The painting is made with the tempera. They are not
varnished in difference of the most wooden things represented in
St-Petersburg. It is principal and very important for me, because there is a
possibility, during the regarding, to avoid small alterations, paint lights and
the mirror effects, which the varnish covering produces.
The varnish “disturbs”
the natural perception of the wooden plaything (the natural design of the wood
texture and the bright and unique colors palette disappear).
The main
collection is formed of 13 different figures, of which it is possible, to
desire, to make different genre scenes. The figures of people have traditional
Russian dress. They are 18-18.5 cm of height.
The price of one
figure with the delivery and transporting is about EUR 15.
For the private
collections and different exhibitions and auctions I have an exclusive
collection composed of 10 figures. The figures are 10.5-11 cm of height (it is
the usual, habitual size of the wooden miniature).
The price of 10
figures complex with delivery and transporting is EUR 200.
